Football Game or Doctor?

Does this make sense?
Last Thursday, I ventured to the Eagles opening pre-season game. I found the experience to be amazing!
During the game I discussed the recent debacle with the NFL players demanding more money. The following comment motivated me to write this blog:
“no matter how bad the economy is, fans will always find a way to get tickets for a football game.”
How many times will a fan hold out on spending money for what they need so they can afford what they want? The reason the NFL asks for more money is because they know people will always pay for tickets even if they are broke.
We are the ones who would rather spend money on a game than say go to the doctor’s when we are sick. This is why a guy who can throw a ball will make more money than someone who saves lives. In my opinion, a doctor should make triple what a sports player of any kind makes. Doesn’t it just make sense?
How many times have you held yourself back from spending money on what you need for something you want?
