Intro

 

 

To introduce myself, I am an advocate.  My passion centers on helping society. I believe in giving back to others and utilizing the tools I have to assist another in need.

I am part of G.N.C. which is one of Philadelphia’s top ten “3-Day for the Cure” fundraising teams since 2006 and has raised over $120,000 in the fight against Breast Cancer. The team consists of strong women whom are passionate about raising money for the cure. Its an inspiring and uplifting experience and has taught me the importance of unity. I also joined Determination (The American Cancer Society) for the Broad Street Run. I am committed to raising money to help those struggling to fight for their lives.

Along with fundraising, I also volunteer for several non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross, YMP and CTC. I feel they are important entities helping to better the local community.  I have learned through my life experiences that knowledge, unity and compassion are critical elements for growth. Face your fears and open the door to experiences outside your comfort zone. Reach for the possibility of bettering ourselves, together.

Another passion of mine is politics. I hope to educate and inspire people to get involved politically. This is a crucial time to use the rights we were given and speak up! We can not ignore the political aspect of our lives any more. The direction of our entire country needs the support of it’s people.  I have future aspirations in politics and am working to learn each level. Knowledge is power and I believe in being well informed before making a move. I am working on education issues, mental health/addiction funding and health care at the moment. I plan on doing as much as I can with the rights I was given to try and establish a more unified society. 

 I will discuss important topics such as:  politics, education, addiction, adolescent behavior, fundraising, non-profit organizations, private/public businesses, the economy, technology and much more.
